I was using the Konsyl psyllium Powder prior and thought I would try these out for convenience. I use it to supplement my fiber intake to help with my diabetes and keep my cholesterol at a great range ( I have never had a bad cholesterol number, YEAH!!) I found with the capsules it is easier to take but I forget to take them. The powder was on my table every day and I would mix with my drink. The powder I never forgot. It's a personal choice. I will never switch to another product though. I think I will stick with the powder and use the capsules for taking with me on trips away from home.While taking the psyllium powder, I notice my weight stays in check as well..... Konsyl never raises my blood sugar like the other fiber supplements that are sweetened. Yes.
